From now until the end of May I will be extremely busy; busy going insane from completing my experiments and writing up my thesis! So unfortunately I won’t be able to update this blog. My little European holiday project is not finished yet as I had a few flops but I am still in the process of trying to perfect them; those posts will come eventually. I had plans of posting collages from my European holiday during this time but haven’t been able to do that either! I can’t wait for all of this to be over and I’m definitely looking forward to my well-deserved break and being able to bake again.
See you all later (don’t miss me too much :P),
Phuoc
hope you have a very productive time off and look forward to reading your posts when you’re back online 🙂
Phuoc, good luck with the thesis writing. I know how difficult and demanding the process can be – had several mental breakdowns while working on mine! Stay focused and I’ll be here when you’re ready to post again 🙂
p/s: Did you bake those macarons? They look gorgeous!
if you tap the bottom of the tray after piping the macaron puffs you’ll be able to get rid of the little bumps on top 😉
best of luck darling!!
don’t stress too much.. hehe
Simon: HAHA I hope I have a productive time off too 😛
Foodwink: Thank you so much! I had a few breakdowns in the past few weeks but it’s a matter of picking myself up from that and moving forward. I think it’s the passage we have to go through right? It’s nice to know someone I’ve never met before is so supportive (awww… warm and fuzzy feeling inside)!
And yes, that was my first attempt of the macarons. The attempts after that didn’t turn out so well (back to square one). I think it was just beginner’s luck.
Cathy: Hi! I did do that… :S
Amy: HAHA Don’t stress.. Me? I hate the word and try to not be; but this has tested me and pushed me off limits but just as long as I can return back then all is good. We’re going to party hard afterwards!
Will see you on the other side, hopefully soon 🙂
Lovely macaron picture. Good luck with the thesis, and hope you see you back to blogging soon 🙂
Best of luck with your thesis. Your macarons look gorgeous.
Good luck! And sooner you get that done, sooner we can indulge on Cabra food! 😉 Just kidding!
Simon: Thanks dude! Hopefully this side is filled with loads of yummy food 🙂
Y: Aww.. Thanks! It means alot coming from a wonderful photographer like you.
Mark: Thanks Mark! Beginner’s luck. I attempted them twice after and they didn’t turn out so well.. Back to square one (after).
Maria: Hehe.. Cabra 🙂
Awww =(
We’ll be here when you come back… just don’t forget to come back, you still have to tell us all about Europe, especially me ‘cos I’ll need some ideas 😉
Good luck with everything =)
Thanks Angie! Although I have a sneaky suspicion that you’ll see me this Sat 🙂
Aww sorry to hear that but I totally understand. Life is so inconvenient to blogging! 😛 I’m still dying to see the rest of the Europe photos 🙂
Well I guess some aren’t lucky enough to do it full-time 🙂 I like it as a hobby as it breaks up everything that is crazy in my life; but for the moment, thesis is my priority… Well stay tune for it as I will update sometime in June 🙂 Expect Paris and more of Italy 🙂
Hi Phuoc,
I really like your blog, love the pictures, stories and recipes. Hope you get back to it asap. Good luck with your thesis.
Maria! I was wondering who this was… Thank you for your lovely comments and your help throughout your time at Concord; I appreciate it so much!
Looking forward to your return to the world of blogs!
I have just started reading your blog and I love it.
Having to juggle between work, study and blogging is difficult… I am still struggling to find a balance. Looking forward to your return.
Jessica: Thanks!
Rosa: Thanks alot for your kind comment. We’ll find that balance soon enough. All the best! 🙂
Good luck with your thesis & see you on the other side 😉
Thanks Jen!
Good Luck with your experiments and your thesis Phuoc. Hopefully I’ll bump into you in the MasterChef Chat Room ehhehe.
Ahh yes, life always get in the way doesn’t it? All the best with your thesis, and hope there a few macarons along the way to help you get to that final paragraph 🙂
Katherine: Hi! Thanks. Maybe you’ll see me on there everytime I want to procrastinate; hopefully it doesn’t become a regular habit though. I can’t wait to finish!
Helen: Thanks Helen; I don’t know how you manage to juggle it all but you’re doing a great job of it. I hope some Zumbo macarons land on my desk too. I was there quite early on Tuesday and there was only the liquorice ones available so I wasn’t able to get any unfortunately 🙁
I’m holding my breath Phuoc. If you don’t return soon I may explode! Get that thesis sorted! All the best xx
Aww thanks John!
Best of luck Phuoc! It’ll all be over soon enough 😀
Good Luck Chicka!!!
Sharon: Thanks! So looking forward to the end know there’s cake waiting for me 🙂
