… Ant and I embarked on our journey to Europe spending 6 weeks there and visiting 6 countries (Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and UK). As expected it was a fantastic trip!Β We got to experience so much culture and of course, a lot of yummy food.Β WhatΒ I loved the most from this holiday was being able to explore something new every single day and immerse myself in a place that has so much history.Β I could definitely say that pretty much all my money was spent on food. There would never be a day where I stopped at a patisserie and succumb to the delicious morsels displayed.
For the next 6 weeks I will relive our European holiday and share it with you by attempting to bake some of the many sweets that we had during our trip. I hope you can join me in this wonderful journey.
Guten Appetit (German) and Buon Viaggio (Italian)!
Excited to relive your journey with you as I discover these delights myself =D
I so want to go there. If I can clear out my schedule, I will!
Amy: YAY! I am so excited for you. I can’t wait to hear the stories and see the photos! If only you could bring me some food back.. But I don’t think quarantine would be too happy.. π
Anh: You should definately go there!

Lorraine: Yeah I thought so too. I’m excited to see what I can come up with but just thinking about that and everything else I have to do in between makes me wonder how am I going to fit it all in and what have I gotten myself in to.
Billy: Hey there mate! Thanks! I hope you enjoy reading and drooling over it π

Thanks Leona! If I could drop everything and go to Europe I would. I loved every minute of it. My friends are going there tomorrow and I’m uber jealous! We didn’t do the whole backpacking experience but it would definately be a fun way to meet new people from around the world. I hope you enjoy what’s to come π
Nice! Looking forward to your upcoming posts. It’s been almost 8 months since i’ve returned from Europe and noone has seen my photos yet… LOL… Queen of Procrastination I am…
How long did you go for Jen? In a period of 6 weeks I managed to take 28GIGS of photos! I haven’t showed my family yet, I need to sort through them and develop them but it’s taking forever.. -__-;
Glad to know that you’ve got your priorities right when travelling! I, too, spend way too much money on food when I’m on holiday π
Great blogging idea by the way and I look forward to reading your European travelling and cooking adventures. I just adore Europe and would love to visit Italy, Portugal and Spain next.
HAHA Yeah… It’s about experiencing the culture that these countries have to offer (well that’s what I tell myself).. I think food has got to be one of the things that draws me to a place, all the historical stuff follows after.. That’s why I plan to go Vietnam (and Thailand next); so much yummy food on offer. I’m so excited! And if I was to go back to Europe again, I’d love to spend more time in Italy (even though I spent 2 weeks there), Germany, Paris, Spain, Greece… *sigh*
Thank you. I hope you enjoy them.
