With Christmas on the way and being very limited with time to bake, I whip up these quick and dead simple chocolates as gifts.
The second annual Sydney food blogger’s Christmas picnic was organised by Helen of Grab Your Fork and Suze of Chocolatesuze for over 60 food bloggers last weekend. It was a lovely day for socialising and feasting; this event shows how tight the Sydney food blogging community is.
The second lot of desserts I baked up for Dario’s food photography session. Chocolate and hazelnuts are a match made in foodie heaven. This tart was discovered on my recent trip to San Francisco where I discovered the wonderful joys of Tartine Bakery.
Over the weekend I was invited to attend a cake decorating class with Couture Cake Classes. I have no experience decorating cakes with fondant but I think I did pretty good in creating a cute Christmas-themed cake.
One of the desserts I prepared for a food photography/styling session with Dario of www.foodpixels.com. This pannacotta is smooth and creamy, you can’t go wrong with teaming it up with mangoes.
